Złodzieje Rowerów

Złodzieje Rowerów can be translated as Bicycles Thieves, they took this name after an Italian movie “Ladri di Biciclette” directed by Vittorio De Sica. In Poland the band is a hardcore punk legend and no one can take this title from them. I am brave enough to tell that a lot of their musical work connects them with emotional hardcore scene. But I am aware of the fact that I might receive a decent kick in the teeth just for using emo word in the same sentence with ZxRx. And my opinion isn't just based on one o their releases' title (Emo'la). Vocal, lyrics and the way music hits your ears speak for itself - best connection of HCPunk's aggressiveness and emo's expression. At least in the Eastern Europe.

After 15 years Cap'n Jazz REUNITED! So this the best time to post their music here.

Their are one of the most original (mixing indie rock sounds with hardcore and melody put new quality in the emo scene from early 90s dominated by Fugazi; scratchy vocal is so extraordinary and songs are so catchy that you're gonna sing them while taking shower) and most influential (2 bands named themselves after their songs: We Are Scientists and Scary Kids Scaring Kids) of all the time in whole damn Universe! Just TAKE IT!

Evergreen
